Crystal meth.
Dit is echt geniaal en valt ook zo mooi binnen de categorie when beer meets science: Zout uitkristalliseren. Het is vrij eenvoudig zelf te doen. Het enige wat je nodig hebt is een lege WC rol, wat azijnzuur, water en keukenzout(NaCl). Het resultaat is een WC rol met geweldig veel mooie kristalletjes zoals ook te zien in het onderstaande filmpje.

Het is geen chemische reactie het is een uitkristallisatie van het zout.
